Colette Bordeleau artist photographer
With not only hereditary artistic baggage, but training (Bachelor of graphic design),
I have touched on various forms of Visual arts, to finally dedicate myself to photography.
Bulimic photo subjects constantly jump me in the eyes and I always have a camera at hand.
My favorite subjects: dance, rust, urban landscapes and seashores, textures and close-ups that often give an abstract image. My pleasure lies in shooting, I does not much manipulate my images.
There is beauty in everything, just look, it jumps to the eyes at any moment.
A summary of my photographic journey:
2001. I enclose a photo club and I become active in photography,
I constantly improving my technique and my vision of things through my lens.
2005. the shift to digital has enabled me to satisfy my photographic needs, both in quality and quantity.
2010. I become artist photographer full-time.
2012. I start to marry my passion for the photo to that for recycling and recovery, my first works in 3 dimensions are emerging.
My specialty, fixtures of my photos printed by Decophotoplus on brushed aluminum, acrylic on paper photo, with objects and recycled materials. Revive Quebec yesterday, in a contemporary work in three dimensions, one image and one object at a time.
I now work in my workshop, you can contact me through my website below.
