Where does Photolab Yves Thomas deliver?
We deliver anywhere in Canada. Our deliveries are made by either Canada Post or Canpar. We will choose the carrier best-suited to deliver to your address for the package size you have purchased. When a delivery is made by Canpar, a person must be available to receive the delivery of your decorative artwork. Canpar makes two delivery attempts for residential addresses and three delivery attempts for commercial addresses. If a delivery is unsuccessful, your package will be forwarded to the nearest Canpar depot for pick-up.
What are the delivery rates?
Delivery rates for artwork and frames have been reduced to the maximum extent possible depending on your package size. Delivery rates are calculated within the shopping cart and are displayed during the checkout process. We also offer the option to pick-up in person at our lab, see our location.
Can I pick-up my order in person?
Of course. If you are located in the Montreal metropolitan area, you can save on shipping fees by retrieving your order at our professional photo lab on St-Hubert Street. Simply choose the "pick up in store" option upon checkout. Our offices are open between 8h30 AM and 5h00 PM from Monday to Friday. See our photo lab location on a map.

Will my package arrive in good condition?
We package and wrap your printed art order with great care in order to ensure a trouble-free delivery. Large format prints, canvas prints and Plexiglas images can be bulky to ship, especially when they are framed, so we provide extra padding and solid boxes to minimize the risk of damage during transport. Should your artwork arrive damaged, our deliveries are insured for the full value of the artwork. Please call or email us for any issues with delivery and damage during transport.
What should I do if my artwork is damaged?
If your artwork or frame is damaged during transport, contact us promptly. It may also help to provide a photograph of the damaged item. Depending on the case, we may elect to send a pick-up tag to retrieve your item for replacement or refund, as described in our return policy.
What is the delay to print and ship my artwork?
Delay for printing and framing large format decorative artwork varies depending on the size and the printing material chosen. Please see our printing materials section for details for each material. If you have large orders or are ordering during peak times such as before holidays, please plan ahead and give yourself some lead time by ordering early!
Is there a supplemental delay for framing my artwork?
In general, printing on Plexiglas, canvas, fine art and pro photo paper takes a few days (as outlined in our printing materials section), and adding a custom frame and its associated frame mounting will add up to 7 days to your order. Please note that each printed artwork is made per order specifically to suit your requirements and framing is also custom-made for your artwork size and mounting.
All delays indicated are average delays, and may be subject to variations during peak seasons for decorative artowk orders such as Christmas and New Year's.
See average lead times for each printing material in the list below:
What are the delivery delays?
For most deliveries in Ontario and Quebec, deliveries average 1 to 2 business days. Artwork deliveries to British-Columbia and Alberta will take up to 6-8 days. Once your artwork order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to view the progress of your delivery through the associated carrier's web site.
Are you opened during holidays?
Our pro photo lab and artwork framing shops are closed between Christmas and New Year's day. If you order during this period your order will be processed when the printing lab opens back up in the New Year.
Can you handle a rush order?
We will try our best to accommodate any rush order that you may have. Please contact us to discuss any urgent needs for artwork printing or framing and we'll find a solution that meets your requirements.
